Marc-Eddy Norelia (ex Tokyo Z) signs at Burgos

Hereda San Pablo Burgos (Liga Endesa) landed 29-year old American (has also Haitian passport) 203cm forward Marc-Eddy Norelia (college: FGCU) for new season. He played most recently at Earthfriends Tokyo Z in Japanese B2 League. In 41 games he averaged impressive 17.6ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.8apg and 1.4spg last season. Norelia was also voted League Player of the Week.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Unicaja Banco Oviedo in Spanish LEB Gold where in 28 games he had 13.0ppg and 6.5rpg in that year. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Import Player of the Year, Forward of the Year and selected to All-Imports Team.
He has played previously professionally in France (Caen) and Portugal (Oliveirense).
Norelia won Portuguese League championship title in 2019.
He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2017 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
