There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in LNBP. The round was exceptionally exciting as five games ended with a tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Santos defeated Freseras in San Luis Potosi 78-74. Strangely Freseras outrebounded Santos 42-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. U.S. Virgin Islands power forward Rakeem Christmas (206-1991, college: Syracuse) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American-Dominican guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis, agency: BMS Sport Agency) contributed with 12 points and 4 assists for the winners. Santos' coach Hector Porrata used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American Malik Dunbar (198-1996, college: Auburn, agency: Helping Ballers) replied with 18 points and 6 rebounds for Freseras. Freseras will play next round against Panteras trying to get back on the winning streak. Santos will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Astros in Guadalajara. Hosts were edged by Fuerza Regia 80-77. Argentinian-Italian point guard Lucas Faggiano (188-1989, college: LIU Brooklyn) scored 10 points, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Raul Olalde chipped in 14 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) during the contest. American-Argentinian Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) responded with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Astros' coach Ariel Rearte rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fuerza Regia will play against Halcones Rojos in Veracruz in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Astros will play on the road against Dorados in Chihuahua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game was also tough home defeat of Plateros in a game in Fresnillo versus Abejas 82-67. Wayne Langston notched 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort. Even 15 points and 8 rebounds by Gani Lawal did not help to save the game for Plateros. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Abejas will meet at home Correcaminos in the next round. Plateros will play against Halcones UV Xalapa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: Halc.Xalapa were beaten by Soles on the road 84-75. Correcaminos lost to Libertadores on its own court 64-82. Mineros unfortunately lost to Halc.Rojos in Veracruz 85-95. Panteras recorded a loss to Dorados at home 92-94. Halc.Xalapa defeated Soles on the opponent's court 87-79. Halc.Xalapa - Halc.Rojos 62-75

No shocking result in a game when Halcones Rojos beat on the road Halcones UV Xalapa 75-62 on Sunday. American players dominated the game. Guard Isaac Hamilton (196-1994, college: UCLA) notched 16 points to lead the effort and point guard Quade Green (183-1998, college: Washington, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 15 points. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by guard Shaquille Johnson (191-1990, college: Marshall) did not help to save the game for Halcones UV Xalapa. Power forward Justin Keenan (202-1989, college: Ferris St.) added 11 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Halcones Rojos will meet Fuerza Regia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Halcones UV Xalapa will play against Plateros and hope to secure a win.

Correcaminos - Santos 91-102

Rather expected game when Correcaminos lost to Santos in Ciudad Victoria 91-102 on Sunday. American-Puerto Rican point guard Tjader Fernandez (178-1994) notched 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Puerto Rican forward Josue Erazo (203-1995, college: PR-Rio Piedras) supported him with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Even 23 points by the former international Gabriel Vazquez (206-1994) did not help to save the game for Correcaminos. American guard Antonio Daye Jr. (185, college: Coastal, agency: Players Group) added 20 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Santos will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Correcaminos will play against Abejas in Guanajuato and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
