Ahmad Rand came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds for Culiacan in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Tijuana Zonkeys. They maintain first place with 19-5 record. Culiacan at the other side stay dead last with 20 lost games. Tijuana will meet at home bottom-ranked Culiacan (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Culiacan will have a break next round.
