What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Leader Tijuana Zonkeys delivered the eleventh win on Tuesday night. This time they beat 11th ranked Venados (4-12) 90-84 in Mazatlan. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Perry Jones III (211-1991, college: Baylor) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Alex Williams (203-1993) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Latrell Jones (196-1998, college: Nicholls) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tijuana Zonkeys (11-5) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place. Mazatlan lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Tijuana are looking forward to face Culiacan (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mazatlan will have a break next round.

The game in Hermosillo was also quite interesting. Leader Astros (8-0) played at the court of 7th ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (6-8). Astros did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 83-64 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for Trey Burke who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. Romeao Ferguson responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Astros. They moved-up to fourth place. Hermosillo at the other side keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Angeles. Astros will meet at home higher ranked Toros (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hermosillo will play against Angeles (#7) in Ciudad de Mexico and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 11 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:

It was a great evening for the former international Gabriel Giron (192-1988) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) helped adding 16 points and 9 rebounds. Toros' coach used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American guard Gage Davis-McMurrin (195-1995, college: St.Cloud St.) responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Isaiah Powell (198-1999, college: Vermont) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Toros. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Obregon. Guaymas lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Culiacan. Toros will meet Astros (#4) in the next round.
