There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in LSB. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Real Esteli smashed Tigres at home 94-59. Real Esteli dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Tigres' 32. They outrebounded Tigres 49-36 including a 41-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Real Esteli looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Puerto Rican guard Isaiah Palermo (196-2000, college: UALR) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points. The former international swingman Jared Ruiz (188-1992) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Cuban Emmanuel Calderon (198-1998) replied with 20 points and 4 assists for Tigres. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tigres will play next round against Rivas trying to get back on the winning streak. Real Esteli will try to continue on its current victory against Leon at home.
UNI Basket recorded a loss in Jinotega. Visitors were rolled over by Brumas 80-50. American power forward Amir Warnock (206-1995, college: KWC) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Kevin Andino chipped in 27 points and 4 steals during the contest. point guard Kamil Herrera (-2004) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brumas will play against Caribbean Coast in Managua in the next round and it may be the game of the week. UNI Basket will play on the road against Indigenas in Matagalpa to get more than just one victory in their record.
An interesting game was also a 42-point tough home defeat of Indigenas in a game in Matagalpa versus Leones 107-65. Augustus Stone notched 31 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 26 points and 8 rebounds by Zekiah Owens did not help to save the game for Indigenas. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Leones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Indigenas will play against UNI Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 2 Caribbean Coast smashed Rivas on the road 104-69. Leon won against Jaguares on its own court 86-81.
The most impressive performance of 2nd round was 20 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists by Carlos Lopez-Sosa of Jaguares.
