Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.
An interesting game for Jaguares (8-3) which hosted in Managua their biggest opponent Real Esteli (6-4). First ranked Jaguares managed to get a 12-point victory 80-68. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman DAsia Chambers (182-1992, college: Slippery Rock) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 5 assists. The other American import swingman Jessica Fairweather (180-1990, college: Queens, NY) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Janae Barnes (183-1995, college: Johnson CCC) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds for Real Esteli. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jaguares maintains first position with 8-3 record. Defending champion Real Esteli dropped to the third place with four games lost.
The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Tipitapa (7-4) played at the court of 5th ranked UNI (2-8). Tipitapa smashed UNI 52-29. Canadian guard Tiffany Reynolds (175, college: Lakehead) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Clenia Salazar chipped in 7 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Tipitapa's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side point guard Nahomy Castillo (165-2007) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Tipitapa have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. UNI lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost.

Tipitapa held UNI to an opponent 15.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 21.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Tipitapa forced 29 UNI turnovers. Canadian guard Tiffany Reynolds (175, college: Lakehead) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Clenia Salazar (-1987) chipped in 7 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals during the contest.
