Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Managua: Leones (#1) and Jaguares (#6). Leones (10-2) won against visiting Jaguares (7-6) 96-85. Leones made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Jaguares turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for the former international forward Josmel Martinez (198-1999, college: Broward CC) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. American guard Kaleb Hunter (193-1998, college: UNCG) helped adding 30 points and 5 rebounds. Leones' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Puerto Rican power forward Carlos Lopez-Sosa (209-1990, college: UNLV) with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Leones have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-2 record. Jaguares at the other side keep the sixth position with six games lost.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Leon (8-5) against fifth ranked Real Esteli (8-3) on Thursday night. Host Leon was defeated by Real Esteli in a tough game at home 73-80. It was an exceptional evening for American-Puerto Rican Christopher Gaston (201-1989, college: Fordham) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Christopher Blake accounted for 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Dominican Xavier de la Rosa (196-1991) came up with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Leon in the defeat. Real Esteli moved-up to third place. Leon lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Real Esteli will play against league's second-placed Brumas in Jinotega in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Leon will have a break next round.
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Jaguares (7-6) played at the court of 7th ranked UNI Basket (4-9). Jaguares smashed UNI Basket 86-63 on Thursday. The best player for the winners was Joel Kindred who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Jayson Brower who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jaguares maintains sixth place with 7-6 record. UNI Basket lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost.

In the last game of round 15 bottom-ranked Tigres were destroyed by Brumas on the opponent's court 97-50.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 16 points and 7 rebounds by Dalton Cacho of Brumas.

Brumas - Tigres 97-50

Very expected game in Jinotega where 10th ranked Tigres (1-10) were crushed by second ranked Brumas (9-3) 97-50 on Wednesday. Brumas dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Tigres' 30. Brumas forced 19 Tigres turnovers and outrebounded them 42-24 including a 37-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Tigres' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Brumas made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was the former international Dalton Cacho (200-1993) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Larel Pacheco (190-1988) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Four Brumas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Lorenzo Martinez (203-1997, college: Southwestern, KS) who recorded 12 points and 6 rebounds and Dwight Real (-1997) added 11 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Brumas. They maintain second place with 9-3 record behind leader Leones. Tigres lost their eighth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Brumas will meet at home Real Esteli (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tigres will play against Rivas (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
