The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Managua: Jaguares (#1) and Leones (#5). Jaguares (10-0) crushed visiting Leones (4-6) by 17 points 95-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Leones. Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) orchestrated the victory by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. contributed with 16 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Jaguares' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Venezuelan center Miguel Bolivar (205-1992) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists for Leones. Undefeated Jaguares have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Leones at the other side keep the fifth position with six games lost.
An interesting game for Flecheros (6-4) which hosted in second-ranked Brumas (6-4). Third ranked Flecheros managed to get a 8-point victory 65-57. It was a great evening for American forward Glen Rice Jr (198-1991, college: Georgia Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Renaldo Balkman helped adding 7 points and 19 rebounds. Flecheros' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American-Puerto Rican forward Jonathan Ocasio (196-1992, college: New Haven) responded with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Flecheros moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Brumas.
In the last game of round 11 bottom-ranked Tigres were beaten by Real Esteli on the road 112-97.
The most impressive performance of 11th round was 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 8 assists by Jared Ruiz of Real Esteli.
