Tigres (3-1) recorded its first loss in Jinotega on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by sixth ranked Brumas (3-1) 103-56. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Tigres. There was no surprise in Puerto Cabezas where 14th ranked La Trinidad (1-2) was defeated by eleventh ranked Mineros (2-2) 76-69 on Sunday. Mineros forced 25 La Trinidad turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Eugenio Rattrey who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds and Jose Mccurbia who added 12 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Mineros players scored in double figures.
