He was the major contributor in a Brose Bamberg's victory against the closely-ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg 94-81 in the German BBL last Friday. Mitchell scored 17 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 7 assists; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Brose Bambergis placed second in the BBL. Mitchell has relatively good stats this season: 12.9ppg, 7.1rpg, 3.0apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 57.4%(89-155), 3FGP: 35.5% and FT: 52.2%. He is a naturalized American.
