Michael Beasley

Cangrejeros de Santurce (BSN) added to their roster 32-year old American forward Michael Beasley (208cm-111kg-89, college: of Kansas State). The last time (21) he played at Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA Summer League. Beasley missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.
In 2008 he was drafted by Miami Heat (NBA) as #2 pick overall. The former of Kansas State star is in his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He has played previously professionally in China (Guandong Tigers and Heroes) and NBA (Houston Rockets, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, LA Clippers and LA Lakers).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of NBA in 2014. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com Chinese CBA All-Imports Team back in 2016.

His left handed jump shot is a thing of beauty, with a smooth release, he has good arc and is very balanced getting his legs under him to get great elevation. Most dangerous out of the mid-post where he can square his man up, and attack with a variety of moves; including strong takes to the hoop, a nice midrange pull-up, or simply shooting over the top of helpless defenders.
Even though he has great length and body strength, he is somewhat undersized for the PF spot at the next level.
