San German - Bayamon 91-84 Guaynabo - Carolina 92-77 Mets dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Gigantes' 30 and made 16-of-17 charity shots (94.1 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Gigantes 40-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Mets players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Gary Browne (185-1993, college: WVU) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists and the former international guard Jaysean Paige (188-1994, college: WVU) who added 26 points during the contest. Five Mets players scored in double figures. At the losing side international point guard Tremont Waters (180-1998, college: LSU, agency: Shark Sports Management) responded with 21 points and 9 assists and American Mike Scott (203-1988, college: Virginia) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
