It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mets. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Scottie James Jr (202-1996, college: Liberty, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import Brandon Goodwin (188-1995, college: FGCU) who added 17 points during the contest. Gigantes have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Guaynabo at the other side dropped to the second place with nine games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Carolina. Guaynabo will play next round against Ponce trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Carolina will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Mayaguez at home.

At the other side the best for losing team was Emmanuel Mudiay who recorded 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Arecibo maintains first position with 19-5 record. Loser Piratas dropped to the fourth place with 14 games lost. Arecibo will meet Ponce (#5) in the next round. Quebradillas will play against the league's second-placed Mayaguez and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
There were no shocking results in the other games in round 24: San German was destroyed by Ponce on the opponent's court 116-81. Manati managed to outperform Santurce in a home game 111-97. Ponce was rolled over Aguada on the road 100-75.
