There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in BSN. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Mets (20-12) in Arecibo on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Capitanes (22-11) 108-96. Arecibo made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American center Jahlil Okafor (211-1995, college: Duke) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). The former international Alfonso Plummer (185-1997, college: Illinois) chipped in 32 points and 6 assists. Capitanes' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American Gabe York (190-1993, college: Arizona) who recorded 31 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Arecibo maintains first position with 22-11 record which they share with defeated Guaynabo. Guaynabo at the other side still keeps top place with 12 games lost. Arecibo are looking forward to face Mayaguez (#4) on the road in the next round. Guaynabo will play against Santurce and is hoping to win this game.

It was a good game for American-Jordanian power forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-1995, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory with 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Gabe York contributed with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. International forward Phillip Wheeler (204-2002) replied with 24 points and 7 rebounds for Quebradillas. Guaynabo maintains first position with 20-12 record. Quebradillas at the other side dropped to the second place with 18 games lost. Guaynabo will play against Santurce (#5) on the road in the next round. Quebradillas will play against San German and hope to get back on the winning track.
The game in San German was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Indios (15-18) played at the court of sixth ranked Atleticos (13-20). Atleticos defeated Indios 84-70 on Tuesday. Mitch Creek had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. The best for the losing side was Cameron McGriff with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. San German maintains sixth position with 13-20 record. Mayaguez lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Ponce and Aguada. San German will meet league's second-placed Quebradillas on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Mayaguez will play against Bayamon and hope to secure a win.

Rest of the games of round 30 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Ponce was defeated by Manati in a road game 93-84. Santurce beat Caguas at home 102-94. Bayamon lost to Carolina on the opponent's court 92-102. Ponce managed to outperform Mayaguez in a home game 93-85. Quebradillas rolled over Bayamon on the road 93-72.



Guaynabo - Quebradillas 108-100

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Guaynabo. First ranked Mets faced one of their biggest challengers Piratas. Host Mets (20-12) defeated guests from Quebradillas (16-18) 108-100. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Piratas. Guaynabo made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Quebradillas were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American-Jordanian power forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-1995, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory with 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). American Gabe York (190-1993, college: Arizona) contributed with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. International forward Phillip Wheeler (204-2002) replied with 24 points and 7 rebounds and American center Tai Odiase (206-1995, college: UIC) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Quebradillas. Five Quebradillas players scored in double figures. Guaynabo maintains first position with 20-12 record. Quebradillas at the other side dropped to the second place with 18 games lost. Guaynabo will play against Santurce (#5) on the road in the next round. Quebradillas will play against San German and hope to get back on the winning track.

Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. San German maintains sixth position with 13-20 record. Mayaguez lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Ponce and Aguada. There was a minor upset in Manati where their close opponent Leones (15-18) were defeated by fifth ranked Osos (18-16) 93-84 on Tuesday. American point guard Norris Cole (188-1988, college: CSU) scored 22 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Jamil Wilson (201-1990, college: Marquette) chipped in 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Osos' coach Ivan Rios used entire bench saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Australian swingman Mitch Creek (196-1992) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international point guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991, agency: Interperformances) scored 18 points and 8 assists. Four Manati and five Ponce players scored in double figures. Osos have an impressive five-game winning streak. Manati moved-up to fourth place.
