Moses Brown gets MVP of the Week award for Puerto Rican BSN (by Hoops Agents)

American Moses Brown (218-C-1999) had a very impressive game in the last week for league's second-best Criollos de Caguas and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 15.
The 26-year old center had a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Quebradillas (#6, 4-15) 119-112. Criollos maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Puerto Rican BSN. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Caguas will need more victories to improve their 11-7 record. Brown just recently signed at Criollos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of California at Los Angeles graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (7th best: 19.1ppg), assists (4th best: 0.6apg) and averages solid 1.8bpg and 60.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last week's games was young American forward Davon Jefferson (203-F-1986) of Cangrejeros de Santurce. Jefferson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Cangrejeros was edged by the higher-ranked Carolina (#3, 10-8) 82-80. Santurce managed to keep the same 6th spot in Group B. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-12 record. Jefferson is one of the most experienced players at Santurce and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last week was Dominican Rep. Rigoberto Mendoza (191-SG-1992) of Santeros de Aguada (#3). Mendoza showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last week. He was a key player of Santeros, leading his team to a 99-97 win against slightly lower-ranked Ponce (#5, 7-12). Aguada needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group A. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 8 lost games. Mendoza has a great season in Puerto Rico. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.6rpg (9th best).

8. Angel Rodriguez (180-PG-1992) of Santurce - 14 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists
9. Jaylin Galloway (198-SF-2002) of Bayamon - 26 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Gary Browne (185-G-1993) of Bayamon - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
