Bayamon - Carolina 60-80

Gigantes de Carolina claimed BSN title. They cruised past Bayamon in the fifth game of the championship series to conquer the trophy. The game was mostly controlled by Gigantes. Vaqueros managed to win third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gigantes looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Mike Scott (203-1988, college: Virginia) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. International center George Conditt IV (208-2000, college: Iowa St.) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Kristian Doolittle (201-1997, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with 12 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Javier Mojica (189-1984, college: CCSU) added 15 points in the effort for Vaqueros. Four Vaqueros players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
