Criollos de Caguas celebrated BSN title. They rallied past Osos de Manati in the decisive seventh game of the championship series. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-81. Caguas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Panamanian-American center Akil Mitchell (206-1992, college: Virginia) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Alexander Kappos (208-1997, college: Dalhousie) contributed with 22 points for the winners.Travis Trice II earned the Finals MVP trophy as he finished with 11 points and 8 assists for Caguas. American guard Alex Morales (198-1997, college: Wagner) answered with 25 points and 8 rebounds and Mali power forward Cheick Diallo (206-1996, college: Kansas) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Manati. Five Caguas and four Manati players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

He won the NBA G League championship title in 2023.
Jared Sullinger, 32-year old center from the Santurce Cangrejeros, earned the Center of the Year at the Baloncesto Superior Nacional. He is ex the Ohio State from 2012. Sullinger received multiple other awards, earned a spot in the First Team and Imports Team and Defensive Team. His exceptional play earned him the fifth spot in points per game, boasting an impressive average of over 21. Sullinger was voted Player of the Week 5 times during the 24 campaign. He led the BSN in rebounds per game with almost 15. Sullinger has totalled 14 games of 20 or more points on the year and logged 30 or more points in 4 games. He registered double-doubles in 20 games at the event. Sullinger's 33 points against Bayamon were the most he scored in the 2024 season. 8 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
Alfonso Plummer, Puerto Rican shooting guard from the Arecibo Capitanes, picked up the Domestic Player of the Year of Baloncesto Superior Nacional. He is alumni of the Illinois from 2022. Plummer collected multiple other honors, was named the Most Improved Player of the Year and was voted to the First Team. He was previously voted the Rookie of the Year last year. Plummer notched 19 points and almost 4 assists per game over the season in the league. He has totalled 23 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 3 games. Plummer's 32 points against Guaynabo were the most he scored in the 2024 season. He won the NJCAA D1 District I championship title in 2019.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, American power forward from the Guaynabo Mets, was selected to the First Team at the Baloncesto Superior Nacional. He graduated from the Arizona nine years ago. Hollis-Jefferson was also chosen to the Imports Team. He was previously selected as the Forward of the Year, Imported Player of the Year back in 2022 and named to the First Team back in 2022 and 2023. Hollis-Jefferson averaged almost 18 points and 7 rebounds per game in the league. He has totalled 10 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 3 games. Hollis-Jefferson had double-doubles in 5 games at the event. His 35 points against Carolina were the most he scored in the 2024 season.
