Cheick Diallo gets MVP of the Week award for Puerto Rican BSN (by Hoops Agents)

Mali Cheick Diallo (206-C/F-1996) had a very impressive game in the last week for Santurce and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 10.
The 25-year old had a double-double of 31 points and twenty rebounds, while his team beat Bayamon (#1, 7-3) 95-89. Santurce is placed at 3rd position in Puerto Rican BSN. Santurce is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-6 record. Diallo just recently signed at Santurce, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Cheick Diallo averages just after three games 24.0ppg and 13.0rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last week's games was young American shooting guard Javier Mojica (189-SG-1984) of league's best team Bayamon. Mojica impressed basketball fans with 36 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Bayamon lost that game 89-95 to slightly lower-ranked Santurce (#3, 6-6). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Bayamon still maintains its place as the top team in the standings, even despite this loss. His team has currently 7-3 record. Mojica is one of the most experienced players at Bayamon and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last week was American Zachary Hankins (211-C-1996) of second-ranked Guaynabo. Hankins scored 29 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of Guaynabo, leading his team to a 115-97 easy win against #1 ranked Ponce. Guaynabo needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group A. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Hankins has a very solid season. In 9 games in Puerto Rico he scored 13.3ppg. He also has 6.6rpg, 1.7bpg and FGP: 59.0%.
