Aquas add Jones III to their roster, ex Arecibo

Perry Jones III

Kaohsiung Aquas (T1 League) added to their roster 31-year old American forward Perry Jones III (211cm-107kg-1991, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) for new 2023-24 season. Jones played this summer at Capitanes de Arecibo in Puerto Rican BSN league. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In three BSN games just recently he recorded 14.0ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.7apg. The last season he played at TB Herobears in Taiwanese T1 League where in 20 games he averaged impressive 18.0ppg, 7.9rpg, 4.3apg, 1.3spg and 1.1bpg.
In 2012 he was drafted by Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA) in first round (28th overall). He graduated from Baylor University and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Jones tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Dominican Republic (Los Prados), Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Russia (Khimki), Turkey (Bursaspor), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Boston Celtics and OKC Thunder), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Windy City Bulls), Taiwan (Fubon Braves) and Big3 (Enemies). Jones won NBA Northwest Division championship title in 2013 and 2014.
