Mayaguez signs Dee Bost

Dee Bost

Indios de Mayaguez (BSN) signed experienced 34-year old Bulgarian-American ex-international point guard Dee Bost (189cm-80kg-1989, college: MSU). He played last season at Galatasaray-Ekmas-Istanbul328">Galatasaray in Turkish BSL league. In 24 games he had 12.9ppg, 4.8rpg, 5.5apg and 1.4spg. He also played 13 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 8.5ppg, 3.2rpg, 4.2apg and 1.2spg. The previous (2022-23) season he played at another Turkish team Galatasaray (BSL).
Bost also represented Bulgaria at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers last year. During this event he scored an average of 17 ppg and had 5 rpg.
He is a very experienced player. Bost has played in ten different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in France (Metropolitans, ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket, Monaco and SIG Strasbourg), Lithuania (Zalgiris), Montenegro (Buducnost), Poland (Enea Zastal), Russia (Khimki), Venezuela (Trotamundos), NBA (Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers), NBA G League (SLC Stars) and The Basketball Tournament (Boeheim's Army, Team Challenge ALS and Friday Beers).
Bost was voted to Eurobasket.com Turkish League All-Imports Team in 2022. Among many awards, his college team made it to the French Cup final in 2023.
He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2012 and it'll be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season as a professional player.
