Bazley's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

24-year old American forward Darius Bazley (206-F-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last week for Leones de Ponce and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 18.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Manati (#6, 3-15) 96-87. Leones maintains the 4th position in their group in the Puerto Rican league. Ponce is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-9 record. In the team's last game Bazley had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Leones, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Darius Bazley averages this season 11.2ppg and 7.4rpg.

Second best performed player last week was Tyrell Harrison (214-C-1999) of top-ranked Indios de Mayaguez. He is New Zealand center in his first season at Mayaguez. In the last game Harrison recorded an impressive double-double of 31 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Indios lost that game 118-127 to slightly lower-ranked Quebradillas (#3, 11-8). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group A. Mayaguez still maintains its place as the top team in the standings, even despite this loss. His team has currently 12-10 record. Harrison is one of the most experienced players at Mayaguez and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.2ppg (#7). He also registered 10.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Cheick Diallo (206-C/F-1996) of Osos de Manati (#6). Diallo showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the last week. Despite Diallo's great performance the Osos lost 87-96 to slightly higher-ranked Ponce (#4, 10-9). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Manati can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group A. They have rather bad season and 3-15 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Diallo has individually a great season in Puerto Rico. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.1ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 9.9rpg (5th best).

9. Milton Doyle (193-SG-1993) of Mayaguez - 26 points, 9 rebounds and 13 assists
10. Javale McGee (213-C-1988) of Bayamon - 26 points and 7 rebounds
