BSC Raiffeisen Furstenfeld Panthers (BSL) agreed terms with 25-year old Puerto Rican guard Jose Placer (185cm-79kg-2000, college: S.Florida, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) for the new 2025-26 season. He played last season at Criollos de Caguas in the Puerto Rican BSN league. In 16 games, he had just 3.3ppg and 1.0rpg.
He graduated from the University of South Florida in 2024 and it's his second season as a pro player. Placer played for other colleges such as the University of North Florida and the University of Maryland - Baltimore County.
