Knight's 26 points and 8 assists give him Player of the Week award

34-year old American guard Brandon Knight (190-G-1991) had a very impressive game in the last week for Mets de Guaynabo and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 10.
He had the game-high 26 points adding three rebounds and eight assists for Guaynabo in his team's victory, helping them to beat Santurce (6-8) 102-92. Mets is placed at 4th position in Puerto Rican league. Guaynabo is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-8 record. In the team's last game Knight had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Mets, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Brandon Knight averages this season 15.8ppg and 5.8apg.

Second best performed player last week was Montrezl Harrell (203-C-1994) of top-ranked Atleticos de San German. He is American center in his first season at San German. In the last game Harrell recorded an impressive 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Atleticos was edged by slightly lower-ranked Aguada (#3, 8-4) 84-81. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group A. San German still maintains its place as the top team in the standings, even despite this loss. His team has currently 10-4 record. Harrell is one of the most experienced players at San German and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Guaynabo's star - forward Torrey Craig (198-F-1990). Craig scored 26 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was another key player of Mets de Guaynabo, helping his team with a 102-92 win against Santurce (6-8). The chances of Mets ranking at the top of Group B, however are very questionable as they have already lost 8 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Craig could help Guaynabo to bring them higher in the standings. The season just started for Craig as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.
