KINGSTOWN, ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES - Wayne Williams is back at the helm of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Basketball Federation - SVGBF, following the Special General Meeting on Saturday night.
It was a tight race, which saw a second round of voting forced unto the delegates. In the first round, Wayne Williams and Rohan Providence each receiving 21 votes, and Karel Bramble 02.
When chairman of proceedings, Caribbean Basketball Federation president Glynne Clarke called for a second round, Bramble requested that his 'votes go to' but was not allowed to complete the sentence as a caphony
Sanjay Jiandani received 38 votes, Winfield Tannis 6, with 1 spoilt ballot in the voting for the Third vicepresident position.
Gailene Gordon was voted in as GeneralSecretary with 20 votes, while the other nominees receiving Ceophas Glynne 15 votes, Darron John 7, and Winfield Tannis 2 votes, respectively with one ballot.
Winston Snagg received 25 votes to be elected as the Treasurer, while his opponent former treasurer Rohan Providence received 19 votes with one spoilt ballot.
In the final voting of the night for the position of Assistant Secretary / Treasurer, Winfield Tannis was again unsuccessful receiving only 9 votes to Sonia Lewis 35, with one spoilt ballot.
Speaking during his acceptance speech, the newly elected president Wayne Williams called on persons to work together, with one aim, which is to develop holistically the Vincentian basketball product.
The new Executive Committee of the SVGBF are:

Karel Bramble - 1st Vice President
Augustus John - 2nd Vice President
Sanjay Jiandani - 3rd Vice President
Winston Snagg - Treasurer
Sonia Lewis - Assistant Secretary / Treasurer
