Shawn King (ex Kalev/Cramo) signs at Gravelines

BCM Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral (ProA) landed 34-year old Vincentian ex-international center Shawn King (208-100kg-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports). He played most recently at Kalev/Cramo in Estonian Alexela KML. In 14 VTB United League games he averaged 14.0ppg, 12.8rpg, 1.4apg and 1.4bpg last season. King also played at Bucaneros (LPB) in Venezuelan league that season. In 6 games he had 6.3ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.0spg. The last summer he was tested by Al Riyadi (Pepsi LBL) in Lebanese league.
Among other achievements King received Eurobasket.com All-Belarusian League Player of the Year award back in 2011. He also represented Saint Vincent at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) last year. His stats at that event were 6 games: 12.5ppg, Reb-1 (14.8rpg), 2.0apg, 1.2spg, Blocks-2 (3.2bpg), FGP-1 (75.0%), FT: 78.9%.
King is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Italy (Virtus Obiettivo Lavoro Bologna), Slovenia (Hopsi Polzela), Ukraine (BC Odessa), France (Sluc Nancy and STB Le Havre) and Belarus (Tsmoki-Minsk).
King attended Oral Roberts University until 2008 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
