Shawn King leaves Stal Ostrow

experienced 38-year old Vincentian center Shawn King (208-100kg-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) left BM Slam Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (EBL). In 20 games in Poland he recorded 3.1ppg and 5.1rpg this season.
The last season King played at Denain Voltaire in French ProB where in 23 games he averaged 7.0ppg, 7.7rpg (#5 in the league) and 1.5apg.
He also represented Saint Vincent at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) six years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 12.5ppg, Reb-1 (14.8rpg), 2.0apg, 1.2spg, Blocks-2 (3.2bpg), FGP-1 (75.0%), FT: 78.9%.
King is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in eight different countries. King has played previously professionally in Belarus, Estonia (Kalev/Cramo), Italy, Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Slovenia (Hopsi Polzela and Primorska), Ukraine, Venezuela (Bucaneros) and France (Gravelines Dunkerque, Sluc Nancy and STB Le Havre).
Among many awards his team won Polish Cup in 2019. King received also Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Honorable Mention award in 2019.
He attended Oral Roberts University until 2008 and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball.
