Quimper UJAP (ProB) landed 31-year old Canadian-Vincentian ex-international 203cm forward Lien Phillip, college: Windsor for new season. Phillip has played for the last two years at St-Quentin. In 33 ProB games in France he averaged 12.6ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.2apg last season. Good year as he was voted League Player of the Week (2 times).
He was a member of Canadian international program for some years. Phillip was called to Canadian Senior National Team back in 2011 and previously for University National Team in 2011.
He has played previously professionally also in Australia (Suns) and France (Lourdes Tarbes, Prisse Macon, Vitre, JSA Bordeaux and Ardres).
Among many awards his team was regular season runner-up in OUA West Division in 2011 and 2014. Phillip was selected to Eurobasket.com All-French NM1 1st Team in 2019.
He attended University of Windsor until 2014 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
Phillip's game is described as: Phillip is a relentless rebounder and a tough physical player.
On the court, Phillip is considered to be the complete package as he is a long and athletic post player who is an exceptional rebounder, tremendous defender and an explosive scorer
