Atletico Bigua Montevideo (LUB) agreed terms with 24-year old Dominican forward Luis Santos (203-116kg-94, college: St.Louis). He played this summer at Los Prados in TBS league in Dominican Republic. In three games he had 9.0ppg, 9.7rpg, 1.3apg, 1.0spg and 2.0bpg. The last season Santos played at Olimpico de La Banda (La Liga) in Argentinian league where in 46 games he recorded 7.9ppg and 4.4rpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Santos represented Dominican Republic at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) this year. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 3.0ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.0spg.
Santos graduated from Saint Louis University in 2018 and it will be his second season as a professional player.
