#1. This week's number one is an international point guard
Luciano Parodi (182-94, currently plays in Brazil). He could not help
Vivo/Franca (11-1) in their last game. Despite Parodi's very good performance the league leader Vivo/Franca was edged
83-82 on the road by the lower-ranked (#4) Mogi.
He was the top scorer with 20 points. Parodi also added 6 assists in 30 minutes on the court.
This year Parodi averages: 10.0ppg, 2.9rpg, 4.2apg, 2FGP: 52.4% and FT: 75.0% in 14 games he played so far.
He is currently a member of the Uruguayan senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard
Bruno Fitipaldo (183-91, agency:
Pro Sports, currently plays in Basketball Champions League). Fitipaldo was not able to help
Burgos in their game against Hapoel Jerusalem (10-3) in the Basketball Champions League.
He recorded 9 points and added 5 assists.
But Burgos was defeated
96-91 in Jerusalem by the leading Hapoel.
Fitipaldo's team will play only one more game in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. And that game will be critical.

#3. The Uruguayan player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international center
Esteban Batista (208-83, agency:
Duran International, currently plays in Argentina). Batista contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Argentino (8-11) crushing them
97-71 in the Argentinian La Liga on Wednesday night.
He scored 8 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 20 minutes.
San Lorenzo de Almagra (12-3) is placed first in the La Liga.
It was his team's 12th consecutive victory in a row.
This year Batista's overall stats are: 8.4ppg, 6.4rpg, 2FGP: 67.6%(46-68) and FT: 51.0% in 14 games.
He has a dual citizenship: Spanish and Uruguayan.
Batista is also a member of the Uruguayan senior national team.
#4. Forward
Joaquin Rodriguez (198-99, currently plays in Argentina) was not able to secure a victory for
Estudiantes Concordia (5-17) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Estudiantes Concordia was defeated
78-72 in Buenos Aires by the much higher-ranked Ferro (#6).
Rodriguez recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and making 12 passes. He also added 4 rebounds.
It's Rodriguez's first season with the team.
Rodriguez's total stats this year are: 8.3ppg, 2.7rpg and 3.0apg.
He is also Uruguayan national team player.
#5. International guard
Gustavo Barrera (194-85, currently plays in Brazil) contributed to
Flamengo's victory against the seventh-ranked UniFacisa (11-8)
83-77 in the Brazilian NBB last Tuesday.
Barrera recorded 8 points in 21 minutes.
Clube de Regatas do Flamengo (15-3) is placed first in the NBB.
It was his team's 12th consecutive victory in a row.

101-76 in the Argentinian La Liga on Thursday night.

Obras Basket Buenos Aires (12-3) is placed fourth in the La Liga.
It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row.
Serres has averaged so far 5.9ppg and 3.2rpg.
He is a former international player as he played for the Uruguayan senior team two years ago.
#7. International shooting guard
Santiago Vescovi (191-1, another player represented by
Pro Sports, currently plays college basketball in the States) couldn't help the
Tennessee (4-2) in their game against the Mississippi State University (3-3) in the NCAA, despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game.

#8. Forward
Nicolas Catala (200-91, currently plays in Chile) couldn't help
CD Puerto Varas (1-1) in their game against Puerto Montt (14-13) in the Chilean Liga Nacional, despite his good performance on Sunday night.
He recorded 12 points in a mere 18 minutes.
But the fourth-placed CD Puerto Varas (1-1) was badly defeated

#9. International forward
Juan Ducasse (206-98, currently studies in the States) managed to help Santa Clara University to win against the University of San Diego (1-5)
65-52 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game.
Ducasse recorded 5 points.
The Santa Clara University has 3-3 conference record this season.
Ducasse has averaged so far 1.6ppg and 1.9rpg.
He is also in the roster of the Uruguayan national team.
#10. Forward
Maximiliano Sole (195-88, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help
Real Madrid 2 (12-6) in their game against Quintanar (13-5) in the Spanish EBA (fourth division).
