Energa Icon Sea Czarni Slupsk (OBL) agreed terms with 25-year old American guard Mason Madsen (193cm-91kg-2001, college: Utah) for new 2026-27 season. He played last season at Urunday in Uruguayan LUB league. In three games he had 9.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg. He also played for SBBK Sodertalje (Basketligan) in Swedish league. The other team he played shortly was Suns in NBA G League.
Madsen played in the final of AAC Tournament in 2021.
He graduated from the University of Utah in 2025 and it will be his second season as a professional player. Madsen played for other colleges such as Boston College and the University of Cincinnati.
