There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in LUB. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Olimpia (15-5) in Montevideo on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Aguada (12-7) 96-91. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Olimpia. Aguada made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. It was a good game for naturalized Italian Leandro Garcia-Morales (186-80, college: Texas A&M, agency: Pro Sports) who led his team to a victory with 32 points and 5 assists. American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (205-93, college: UW-Parkside) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists for Olimpia. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Trouville. Olimpia at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Aguada's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Bigua.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Malvin (#2) and Hebraica (#6). Malvin (14-6) smashed visiting Hebraica (11-8) by 26 points 99-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hebraica. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Juan Santiso (185-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and Michael Hicks who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Malvin's coach Pablo Lopez felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American-Irish swingman Will Hanley (201-90, college: Bowdoin, agency: Duran International) with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Malvin maintains second position with 14-6 record behind leader Olimpia. Hebraica at the other side keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. Malvin's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Olimpia.
Bottom-ranked Sayago managed to get a second victory on Monday night. This time they won against fourth-ranked Nacional 79-62. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 17-point difference proves that Sayago was well-prepared to that game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nacional. The winners were led by German Silvarrey who scored that evening 20 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. Even a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds by Antwan Space did not help to save the game for Nacional. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sayago maintains thirteenth position with 2-17 record. Loser Nacional dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost. Sayago will meet higher ranked Hebraica (#6) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Nacional's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Atenas.
