Dexter Pittman

Club Atletico Penarol (LUB) inked 33-year old Taiwanese-American ex-international center Dexter Pittman (208cm-129kg-88, college: Texas agency: Ten Ten). He played recently at Al-Riffa in Bahrain Premier League. In 10 games he was the league's fourth-best scorer with an impressive 30.1ppg and recorded 17.0rpg, 1.7apg, 1.1spg, and 1.7bpg last season. A very good year in his career as he was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Bahrain League 2nd Team and All-Imports Team. The previous summer Pittman played at Atleticos in Puerto Rican BSN where in 7 games he averaged 8.9ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.1bpg.

In 2010 Pittman was drafted by Miami Heat (NBA) in the second round (32nd overall). He attended the University of Texas and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball. Pittman was a member of the Taiwanese Senior National Team two years ago.

He is a very experienced player. Pittman has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and of course North America). Pittman has played previously professionally in China, Italy, Japan (Rising and Toyama Grouses), Turkey (TED Ankara), NBA (Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, and Memphis Grizzlies), NBA G League (Sioux Falls S.), and Puerto Rico (Santeros).

Among many awards, Pittman's team won Bahrain Cup in 2020. He received also the Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Center of the Year award back in 2016.
