Nicolas Andreoli
Experienced Nicolas Andreoli (197-F) had an amazing evening in the last round for Danubio and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 6.
The forward had the game-high 26 points adding seven rebounds for Danubio in his team's victory, helping them to beat Tabare (1-3) 92-81. Danubio is placed at 8th position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 3 games and had just one victory. In the team's last game Andreoli had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Danubio's top player in his first season with the team. Nicolas Andreoli averages this season 17.0ppg and 6.5rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old power forward Sebastian Ottonello (195-PF-97) of Miramar. Ottonello impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Miramar lost that game 71-83 to the higher-ranked L.Borges (#6, 2-2). This loss caused Miramar to drop to 9th position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Miramar managed to get this year. Ottonello is a newcomer at Miramar and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.3ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 8.8rpg and 4.3apg.
The third best performed player last round was Lithuanian Zygimantas Riauka (206-C-93) of Sayago (#7). Riauka scored 18 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Riauka's great performance Sayago lost 62-64 to the league's current leader Lagomar (#2, 3-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Sayago not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victory. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Riauka could try to bring Sayago's a little bit higher in the standings. Riauka has individually a great season in Uruguay. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.7ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 13.3rpg (4th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
