Cordon - Colon 69-80 The most surprising game was the first loss of Cordon (3-1) in Montevideo on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Colon (3-1) 80-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cordon. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Colon dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Cordon's 18. They outrebounded Cordon 41-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Martin Trelles (187-96) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and American Lenny Daniel (203-87, college: CSUN) who added 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The winners were led by point guard Martin Perdomo (178-95) who scored that evening 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Agustin Da Costa (191-98) supported him with 18 points. Five Lagomar players scored in double figures. Even 25 points and 4 steals by point guard Facundo Medina (190-94) did not help to save the game for Tabare. Argentinian center Ignacio Alessio (203-87) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Tabare's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
