Malvin Montevideo (Liga Femenina) added to their roster American 178cm forward Deijah Blanks (college: St.Edward's). Blanks is the second import player in the roster as Venezuelan Yosimar Corrales signed here earlier.
In her first game she scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds helping her new team beat Hebraica 92-59. She moved there from Stjarnan in Icelandic D1 league. In four games she recorded very impressive stats: 25.0ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.0apg, 2.8spg and 1.8bpg last season. Blanks also played for Capitol Bascats Duesseldorf in German DBBL where in two D1 games she averaged 8.5ppg and 3.0rpg.
She has played also professionally in Germany (Baskets Grunberg).
Blanks graduated from St. Edward's University in 2020 and it will be her second season in pro basketball.
