Capitol - Cordon 76-93 The most surprising game was a loss of Capitol (2-1) in Montevideo on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Cordon (2-1) 93-76. It was a great evening for Argentinian center Eduardo Vasirani (206-1991) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. Argentinian forward Fabian Ramirez (200-1990) helped adding 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Cordon players scored in double figures. The best player for the winners was Iraqi center Ihab Al-Zuhairi (210-1998) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 18 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Agustin Cabillon (198-1995) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Miramar's players. The best player for the winners was Brazilian center Romulo Gusmao (208) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field).
