Brian Garcia gets MVP of the Week award for Uruguayan Metropolitan (Second Stage) - by Hoops Agents

Brian Garcia (182-PG) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-best Verdirrojo (they play in Places 8-14) and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 3 (Second Stage).
The playmaker had the game-high 30 points adding five rebounds and two assists for Verdirrojo in his team's victory, helping them to edge out San Telmo RS (#14, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 94-93. Verdirrojo is placed at 2nd position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the Second Stage and Verdirrojo won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Garcia had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He turned to be Verdirrojo's top player in his first season with the team. Gamboa showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, six rebounds and seven assists in the last round. Despite Gamboa's great performance Miramar lost 66-85 to Sayago (1-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Miramar needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 1 victory and 1 lost game. The season just started for Gamboa as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
