American forward Jeremy Ireland (200-1996, college: Elmhurst) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Gaston de los Santos (196-1992) accounted for 15 points and 4 assists. Ireland is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Nacional FC players scored in double figures. Colombian forward Diego Altamiranda (201-2001) came up with 20 points and 9 rebounds and guard Eduardo Taure (186-1984) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for Juventus in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
