Liga Femenina Round 7: Lagomar defeat Yale in the closest game of the week

The most exciting game of round 7 in the Liga Femenina took place in Montevideo. Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: D.Sporting (#3) and 25 de Agosto (#2). D.Sporting (8-1) crushed visiting 25 de Agosto (7-2) by 20 points 78-58. Maria Jourdheuil fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Malvin's coach Juan Serdio used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Camila Kirschenbaum produced 16 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Malvin have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record, which they share with D.Sporting. Loser Aguada dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. In the last two games of round 7 Remeros was destroyed by Hebraica on the opponent's court 62-38. Winless Juventud unfortunately lost to Urunday in a home game 43-60.
