There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Metropolitan. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most surprising game was a loss of O.Mundial in Montevideo on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by 25 de Agosto 90-77. They made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. American forward Dennis McKinney (194-1998, college: Mt.Mercy, agency: GoEmpire Group) had a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Martin Counago (182-1997) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Forward Lucas Silva (197-2002) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. 25 de Agosto's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Miramar.
Very significant was Colon's just 2-point road victory against Sayago 89-87. American guard Jamal Bieniemy (196-1999, college: UTEP) notched 36 points (!!!) and 4 steals to lead the effort and Andres Aristimuno supported him with 14 points and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 25 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists by American Rakim Brown (198-1991, college: Humboldt St.) did not help to save the game for Sayago. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Colon will play against Welcome in Montevideo in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Sayago will play on the road against Atenas in Montevideo to get more than just one victory in their record.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Urunday and Olimpia. Urunday smashed visiting Olimpia by 30 points 81-51. The best player for the winners was DNicolas Delgado who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Al Thornton produced 10 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Urunday's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Verdirrojo.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 2: Atenas won against Lagomar on the opponent's court 89-82. Stockolmo managed to outperform Capitol in a home game 75-72. Larranaga managed to beat Verdirrojo on the road 87-71. U.Atletica defeated Miramar on its own court 77-63. Winless Tabare was beaten by Welcome in Montevideo 71-68.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 29 points and 9 rebounds by Joshua Wilchcombe of Tabare.
