Hernan Alvarez gets MVP of the Week award for Uruguayan Metropolitan (Second Stage)

Hernan Alvarez (182-G-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Tabare and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 3 (Second Stage).
The 24-year old guard had a double-double of 20 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed Sayago (#7, 10-8) with 20-point margin 97-77. Tabare is placed at 3rd position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Tabare will need more victories to improve their 12-6 record. In the team's last game Alvarez had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American Desmond Holloway (194-SF-1990, agency: Interperformances) of 25 de Agosto.
