Goes - Urupan 73-79

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Montevideo where 10th ranked Goes (9-19) were defeated by eleventh ranked Urupan (9-20) 79-73 on Thursday. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican forward Miguel Simon (203-1994, college: ASA CC, agency: BMS Sport Agency) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) who added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Urupan players scored in double figures. Urupan's coach Diego Palacios used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Italian Brandon Nazione (202-1994, college: EMU) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Alex Lopez (186-1993) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Urupan will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
