The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: D.Sporting (#3) and Lagomar (#8). D.Sporting (7-2) crushed visiting Lagomar (3-6) by 23 points 88-65. D.Sporting forced 25 Lagomar turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Lagomar's players. Point guard Josefina Zeballos (172-2003) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and forward Krystal Cordara (169-2002) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Carina Laborde (170-2004) with 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. D.Sporting maintains third place with 7-2 record having just two points less than leader Malvin. Lagomar at the other side keeps the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Juventud.

It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of 25 de Agosto. Argentinian point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) nailed 28 points and 5 steals for the winning side and Florencia Carretero accounted for 10 points and 9 rebounds. Argentinian guard Rocio Bereilh (165-2001) came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds for 25 de Agosto in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yale (8-1) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place behind leader Malvin. 25 de Agosto at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost.
Liga Femenina top team - Malvin (9-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Tabare (1-8) in Montevideo 94-37. The best player for the winners was Carolina Fernandez who scored 19 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Rocio Garcia who recorded 11 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Malvin. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-0 record. Tabare lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with eight games lost.
In the last two games of round 9 winless Hebraica was destroyed by Urunday on the opponent's court 62-33. Juventud managed to outperform Remeros in a home game 72-59.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals by Constanza Lopez of Juventud.
