The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: D.Sporting (#3) and Yale (#2). Yale was defeated at home 57-72 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Yale. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when D.Sporting made 8 blocks. Forward Lucia Schiavo (174-1998) fired 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Argentinian guard Julieta Ale (176-1995) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. D.Sporting's coach Fabian Boscardin used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Argentinian Agustina Bazan (174-2003) produced 28 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. D.Sporting have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Yale.

Lagomar was smashed at home by 28 points 52-80 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian swingman Delfina Saravia (173-2003) who helped to win the game recording 20 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Carolina Fernandez contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Carina Laborde (170-2004) replied with 17 points and 5 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) for Lagomar. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Malvin (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Lagomar lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with seven games lost.
Bottom-ranked Hebraica (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 102-43 loss to ninth ranked Juventud (3-6) in Montevideo on Tuesday evening. Florencia Spinelli had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Agostina Nogueira responded with 9 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Juventud moved-up to eighth place. Hebraica at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost.
In the last two games of round 10 25 de Agosto was defeated by Remeros in Mercedes 68-55. Tabare was smashed by Aguada at home 43-75.
