Tony Wroten

Urupan de Pando (LUB) released 31-year old American guard Tony Wroten (198cm-93kg-1993, college: Washington). In 6 LUB games he had 6.7ppg, 1.7rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg this season.
In 2012 he was drafted by Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) in first round (25th overall). He attended University of Washington and it is his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
He represented USA at the World Championship U17 in Hamburg (Germany) fourteen years ago. Wroten's team won Gold and he had over 8 points per game and he was 5th best passer with over 4 assists per game.
Wroten is quite experienced player. He has played in thirteen different countries on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Wroten has played previously professionally in France (Pau Lacq Orthez), Greece (Iraklis), Latvia, Poland (Anwil), Spain (Joventut), Venezuela (Bucaneros), NBA (NY Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers), Croatia (Zadar), Egypt (Zamalek), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo), NBA G League (Texas Legends, RGV Vipers and Stockton Kings), The Basketball Tournament (Money Team) and Big3 (Tri-State).
Among many awards his team won Big3 Regular Season in 2021. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Latvian-Estonian Basketball League Honorable Mention back in 2019.
