There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Liga de Ascenso. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

There was a change at the Liga de Ascenso leadership position after last games. Round 9 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Atenas (6-2). They were defeated by third ranked L.Borges (6-2) 63-58 on Monday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. L.Borges outrebounded Atenas 44-32 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sergio Conceicao stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and guard Joaquin Nunez (189-2002) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. L.Borges' coach Daniel Giacoya used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian Andriy Grytsak (201-2000) with 17 points and 6 rebounds. L.Borges have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Atenas and Verdirrojo. Atenas will play next round against strong Lagomar trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo - Lagomar. L.Borges will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Stockolmo. It will be extra interesting game as Stockolmo is their local rival from Montevideo.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Marne (#8) and Stockolmo (#6). Stockolmo was defeated at home 99-103 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. American guard Jacob Ledoux (190-1997, college: UTPB, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) nailed a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side and Andres Aristimuno accounted for 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Marne's coach Fabian Narbais allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. point guard Emiliano Bonet (186-2001) came up with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for Stockolmo in the defeat. Marne (4-4) moved-up to seventh place. Stockolmo at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. Marne's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Olimpia.
Bottom-ranked Capitol managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of five consecutive losses on Tuesday night. This time they outleveled eleventh-ranked Yale in Montevideo 85-61. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 24-point difference proves that Capitol was well-prepared to that game. The best player for the winners was Mateo Giano who scored 30 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Facundo Yaquinta who recorded 18 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Capitol maintains thirteenth place with 2-7 record. Yale lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. Capitol's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Montevideo.
