Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Defensor (#7) and Bigua (#6). Defensor (7-5) smashed visiting Bigua (7-6) by 22 points 98-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bigua. Defensor made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Facundo Terra (187-1998) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American point guard Elijah Weaver (197-1998, college: Chicago St.) contributed with 24 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Dominican Jhery Matos (196-1996, college: Charlotte) replied with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for Bigua. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defensor moved-up to sixth place. Bigua at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Defensor's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Urunday.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo: Aguada (#5) and Nacional (#2). Aguada (8-4) won against visiting Nacional (9-4) 98-94. Dominican center Luis Santos (203-1994, college: St.Louis) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Earl Clark chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Defending champion Nacional keeps the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Hebraica. Aguada's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Malvin.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Malvin (9-5) against twelfth ranked Welcome (1-12) on Friday night. Visiting Malvin was defeated by Welcome in Montevideo 99-89. Loser Malvin dropped to the fourth place with five games lost.
