Nestor Salazar, head coach of Tiburones de Vargas and current head coach of Venezuela's Senior NT, said he was proud of his team and flattered their discipline and creative approach to the game. 'We were able to maintain the intensity on court by using a precise collective strategy in which everyone was able to put an ingredient of their own and we were able to hold off the attacks of Centauros by different defensive schemes that paid off. I want to make it clear that Centauros was a very tough rival that always fought for the victory and that made it very complicated for us to win. We've got to recognize the courage with which they played'.
