LNB 2010 Finals - Game 5 (Nov. 2nd): Espartanos de Margarita, LNB 2010 champions! - Nov 3, 2010

Barquisimeto, Venezuela.- Espartanos de Margarita became the LNB 2010 Champions, by taking down Estudiantes de Guarico as hosts, 89-76, in Game 5 played at Verde Rojas Arena of La Asuncion. Hector Romero (202-F-80) was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the team will now proceed to play in the 2010-2011 Liga Suramericana and the 2010-2011 FIBA Americas League.

For the franchise is the return to its best times. They used to be one of the top teams back in 2000 and 2001, when they were the main enemies of Delfines de Cabimas in the quest for national an international success. The first presence of Estudiantes de Guarico in the LNB Finals saw them become a tough team to beat and they've definitely become one of the top teams in the league, growing up from a last placed team filled with rookies to one of the better prepared franchises.
