LED 1 2019 - Round 1: Comuna begins the season with a home win, Diablos surprise Broncos

Comuna El Cementerio (1-0), the title holders of last season's Serie A, started the new Liga Especial de Desarrollo (LED 1) in its First Division with a home win over Atleticos de Caracas (0-1),81-79, while Diablos de Miranda (1-0) surprised Broncos de Caracas (0-1) as visitors in another game of the Central Conference.

Meanwhile, Guerreros de Carabobo (1-0) defeated Venezuela's U17 Team (0-1) at home and Brillantes de Maracaibo (1-0) won in the battle of new franchises against Condores del Zulia (0-1) in the West Conference.

Cangrejeros de Monagas (1-0) took down Gladiadores de Anzoategui (0-1) at their own court and Acereros de Guayana (1-0) got tough as the hosts of Marineros de Sucre (0-1) in Puerto Ordaz.
